I’m not one for photographing myself, but when you’re alone with a toddler all day and decide to make him the focus of your camera, you’re bound to get in some photos. I’m trying to shoot the Oskar Project in natural light, which is proving to be challenging inside. I’ve decided to forgive myself for blurred images, as I’m doing this for fun, memories and to not go nuts.
Also, I enjoy these pictures because I think my son looks nothing like me! In fact, I sometimes worry that someone will call me out on it and say, “hey, that’s not your kid.” At which point, I’d reply . . . uh . . . okay, I don’t know how I’d reply.
Oh, and it might look like he’s giving me a really nice hug here, but really, it’s more like a choke hold. Toddler love!
