About Me

Michele has more than ten years of experience as a professional photojournalist and most recently spent five years working as a staff photographer at the Rochester Post-Bulletin newspaper in Rochester, Minnesota. She quit her job in October 2012 to focus on freelance photography and raising her two-year-old son Oskar. She's available to shoot weddings, portraits, events and editorial work in the Twin Cities and Southeast Minnesota.

Michele is a graduate of the Missouri School of Journalism with a M.A. in journalism focusing on photojournalism and enjoys shooting weddings in a photojournalistic style, with an emphasis on capturing real moments as they unfold before her lens.

A native of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, Michele lives in south Minneapolis with her husband Adam, son Oskar and wonder cat Murky Dismal.

I am committed to providing quality photographic work at prices that won’t break the bank. I am a formally trained photojournalist with more than ten years of experience as a professional shooter. I enjoy shooting weddings in a photojournalistic style, with a focus on capturing those candid, intimate moments that are so easy to miss. I would love to use my camera to document your special day and provide memories to last a lifetime!
